JOURNEYS B2 STUDENT' S STUDY PACK

Each Unit of Journeys contains


· Getting started, which includes objectives of the unit and a warm up to the theme

· A reading text or texts articles, blogs, leaflets, adverts etc

· A variety of exam type reading comprehension questions with open questions in every unit

· Vocabulary tasks, including collocations, idioms, phrasal verbs, word building etc, plus an expansion task based on the unit theme

· Grammar tasks, where students are helped to work out the rules of themselves

· An exam type listening task

· A full exam type speaking ‘test’, linked to the unit theme

· A writing task with useful questions that make students think about exactly what they have to write and why, plus help with planning and language

· Looking back, where students assess themselves by means of a quick quiz and an ‘I can do’ questionnaire
